Project Porp //

The last hurdle when applying for an art school is often some kind of home assignment.
A few years back, my assignment was to make an object with the term «irritation» in mind.
While washing my hands in the bathroom sink, i had an epiphany. I wanted to build a fan driven by a stirling engine.
The idea had absolutely nothing to do with the topic of the assignment.

The main elements of the enginge were built with a spray-paint can, a glass test tube, transparent PVC pipe, brass stock, a pipe clamp, an old oil lamp and an electric fan.
