My work emerges from tampering with categorization.

I stage encounters in which things behave not quite according to the script of their environment. Objects are reassigned in their purpose, hierarchies are loosened, and the mind is asked to renegotiate the things it assumes to be stable.
In short, my work seeks ontological friction.

It takes the shape of sculptures, installations, and videos across a wide array of materials. It often builds from existing infrastructure and commodities, reinterpreting what‘s already there.
